Rooted In Italian Tradition

Over 80 years ago, in northern Italy, Perlier founded a botanical research lab inspired by generations of Italian beauty rituals— remedies passed down by herbalists, apothecaries, and beloved nonnas. These age-old recipes were the foundation for what would become Perlier.

Ancestral Beauty Secrets

Italy has always believed in the power of nature to heal and beautify.  From Sicilian almonds, to Tuscan honey and olive oil, and Mediterranean pomegranates, Perlier draws on time-tested ingredients still used in traditional skin remedies and therapeutic baths.  Our earliest formulas were inspired by these centuries-old beauty rituals.

Science Perfects Tradition

In the early 1940s, Perlier began combining these ancestral recipes with the precision of pharmaceutical science.  The result?  A revolutionary approach to skincare—where nature's collective wisdom meets clinical performance.  In the 1970s, Perlier expanded into cosmetic skincare formulas, embracing innovation while staying true to its roots.

A New Chapter

In the 1980s, Perlier entered a bold new era under the guidance of the Kelemata Group, a respected Italian beauty and wellness company with a legacy dating back to 1919.  With a shared passion for craftsmanship, natural ingredients, and scientific innovation, the union was seamless and Perlier joined a family of brands that value both Italian heritage and modernity.

La Carignana: A Living Lab

Located on a historic 150-acre estate near Turin, La Carignana is our Biological Research Center and the heart of Perlier and the Kelemata Group.  Once a royal Savoy hunting lodge, the estate now grows many of the ingredients used in our skincare.  Here, nature and tradition come together as they did centuries ago, and our team of chemists, pharmacists, agronomists, and scientific researchers work side-by-side with dermatologists and clinical labs in Milan and Turin to deliver clinically tested results powered by nature and proven by science.

Working across the global beauty industry—from product development to international brand strategy—I learned firsthand how powerful and healing pure, fresh ingredients can be. Today, I lead the brand with a commitment to ingredient transparency, sustainability, and Italian craftsmanship. Our products are still made in Italy, using botanically-rich formulas designed to nourish skin and elevate daily rituals.
