The Musk EDT

I really do love this scent but the problem is it doesn't last long even if I spray it on my clothes. If you could make it to last longer I'd probably wear this for the rest of my life. But I am disappointed with this bottle.

This is my absolute favorite Perlier scent. In fact, it’s my favorite scent of ANY perfume or body product EVER. It’s such a sophisticated scent… a light musk fragrance. Light enough to wear every day. I took a chance and purchased it whenever it first launched in the early 2000’s. I kept a healthy supply of it on hand at all times. I was soooo disappointed when they changed the formula to the white musk, and then ultimately stopped making it. I wrote to the company a few times, begging them to bring it back. So ecstatic that someone decided to start making it again… FINALLY!!! Please don’t ever stop making this scent-AND-Please, Please, Please bring back the Invigorating Body Water in this scent. (I love to layer in shower gel, body cream, body water, and perfume- and my The Musk experience lasts all day!)

I love Perlier but was sceptical about if I was going to like this fragrance. I has a light vanilla or amber scent, which I don't normally like, but I think because Perlier is a clean beauty brand, I believe the quality of the products used to make this fragrance was more natural than artificial. I will purchase again when I catch it on sale. Although 70.00 is a fair price for perfume, I like to save money.

I have truly had items that I have not been happy with before and have never written a review. However, this time, because my time will be wasted returning it, I am writing one. One of my favorite scents of all time was Snow Drop, and for whatever reason it was discontinued. I have yet to find online or in stores anything that comes close. But I've always loved musk and when I saw the show a few weeks ago saying that a perfume in a beautiful bottle like Perrier, called The Musk, was available I ordered it along with shower gel hand cream in the body lotion. I am so disappointed and will probably never buy anything else from Perlier. I have had four people in the same day comment on how it smells like everything but Musk. I'm not saying that it's not a lovely scent for someone I'm sure but it's nothing special in my opinion and it certainly does not have any musk that I can smell at all. Three of my girlfriends along with my husband have smelled it today and all four say that there is no way there is must in this perfume. If I could give it zero Stars I would not because it's a horrible scent but because I bought something called Musk and I do not smell Musk and now I have to box all four of my items up and make a trip to ship them back. Probably lots of people out there that will like this scent but if you're a musk lover I wouldn't bother.
